The thirteenth flagship of the Austrian river cruise specialist Luftner Cruises, which was built at the shipbuilding yard De Hoop, is called Amadeus Provence. It was officially delivered in April 2017 and shipped to the south of France for its ceremony. The ship now sails the River Rhone and Saone.
The vessel is equipped with three 327 Kilowatt generators which can run two in parallel and one as backup. The 654 Kilowatt available powers the ship and also the electric driven 285 Kilowatt bow thruster.
With its 110 meter the vessel still accommodates 70 quest cabins and 20 crew cabins so it can accommodate just like its 135 meter sister 144 guests and 44 crew.
Droste Elektro B.V. has provided the complete electrical installation.
